Second Home Sales are on the Rise!

I will not say I told you so, but I did, and this is the very reason why we are talking today. The Wall Street Journal today reports that sales in vacation communities soared last year to heights not seen since the real estate boom that crashed (and burned) in 2008. (For those of us in Texas, it was more like 2009.) Of course, this is because prices are down and smart buyers are digging in. Other areas doing quite well: Montana, Idaho, Santa Fe, N.M. and the entire state of North Carolina.
