Dallas Real Estate Alert: Interesting Home Going Up on Mockingbird Lane

Share News:

Have you seen this house? 3809 Mockingbird. South side of street. Owned by a Lim Lin of Murphy, Texas. I need to check this one out — sure looks a lot different from the house next door. Please holler if you know anything about it!

Reminds me a lot of the house at 6000 McCommas. You have to see it in person to get the full picture, but here's a link (this is actually the front) – http://www.trulia.com/homes/photos/Texas/Dallas/sold/20965928-6000-Mccommas-Blvd-Dallas-TX-75206#item-14

It was on the market for a while, but I think they took it off.

I just noticed it recently. Took a double take. It looks like a shoe box. Hopefully it's more interesting on the inside. And hopefully, the final exterior colors will help it to blend in with grass and trees. You're photo comparing it to the turret next door is hysterical.

Will someone explain what makes that architecturally interesting? It looks like an oversized shipping container painted white. Sitting next to the turreted McMansion next door makes it even worse!

Thanks Patsy! This is why I love Diane Cheatham's Urban Reserve, because all the homes are gorgeously contemporary and there is a flow… stay very tuned for this one!
