Ranch of the Week: Bienvenidos a La Bella Vida

Front of house

I don’t know if a summer spent sunning on the Andalucían coast just permanently got into my head, but every time I see a good, old-fashioned Spanish home, I get a major case of the I Wants. La Bella Vida is no exception, with an oh-so-impressive drive-up appeal and classic sculpted fountain entryway.

Fountain

A sprawling 6,604-square-feet, with four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, and even a 1,268-square-foot ranchhand’s quarters, this magnificent estate has every bit of old world charm you could ever ask for. Spanning 47 ag-exempt acres, including a private stocked lake with dock, this hacienda spares no expense. Bonus: There will be a surprise at the end.

Kitchen

Smaller table

The home features tile, beautiful wood floors, and extra-high ceilings throughout. The fantastic little touches are not to be missed, such as the darling blue mosaic tile in the kitchen. That may not be everyone’s tastes, but it does seem to fit the house pretty nicely.

Extra wide hallways

I’ll confess, I’m just a huge snob about hallways. Narrow dark hallways just equals cheap, in my humble opinion. There is just something so classy, elegant, and appealing about extra-wide hallways. Something that says “Yeah, money was no object when we built this place.” And anything that gives off the that’s-right, I’m expensive vibe is always good, right?

Master mosaic tub

Master

The master suite is pretty luxurious as well. Great windows, excellent use of exposed brick. I’m going to venture a guess that it is not decorated to it’s full potential, but this suite could really be stunning. I actually kind of love the pebble bathtub; it’s just so spa-day-at-the-club.

Pool

The outdoor entertainment areas are equally beautiful, including pool, spa, lounge areas, guest cabana, and gazebo complete with outdoor kitchen.

Lake and dock

View from 2nd home to main house

And this, friends, is the private lake. What you are looking at here is the view from the second home (ranchhand quarters) across the lake to the main house. Awesome.

100 x 200 indoor arena

Barn

And here’s the surprise! There’s a real barn. Thirteen stalls and a nice 100 x 200-foot completely enclosed indoor arena. And all the horse people say “Amen.”

So, really and truly, how awesome is this place? La Bella Vida is everything you could ever want… beautiful unique home, acreage, barn, lake, indoor arena… Someone I know seriously needs to buy this sucker so I can come over and play.

Entrance

La Bella Vida is offered for $2,199,995.00 by Ebby Halliday Realtor Brittney Hughes.
