Looking to buy a ski home in Park City, Utah? Recently, we’ve presented  what a million dollars will buy in the famed resort area, and at the upper echelon — the multimillion dollar Stein Eriksen Residences. Now here’s a look at the other end of the spectrum —new condominiums in the works at price points beginning at just $275K. YOTELPAD Park City will consist of 144 units located in Canyons Village at the base of Park City Mountain.

The project is a joint venture between resort developer Replay Destinations and YOTEL, an innovative hotel company which offers affordable compact lodging in airports and dense urban spots. With smart technology, Italian-designed multi-functional furniture, hotel-like concierge services, and communal spaces designed for social gathering, YOTELPAD is sure is sure to appeal, especially to Millennials.

The Team

Replay Destinations is a Canadian firm founded by former senior executives of mega-resort developer Intrawest Corporation, after the corporation was to sold to private interests in 2006. Replay now operates destination resorts throughout the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Examples of current projects? Half Moon Bay, Antigua; a new residential development in Kukui’ula Resort in Hawaii; One Ocean luxury condominiums on Paradise Island in the Bahamas; and the entire master planned community of Canyons Village where YOTELPADS Park City will be located. Canyons Village will feature shops, restaurants, and gathering spaces, all at one of the top 10 ski resorts in North America.

If you’ve passed through London’s Gatwick or Heathrow Airports, or Paris’ Charles de Gaulle; or dense neighborhoods of major cities, you may have come across their partner in this project, YOTEL. Inspired by luxury air travel cabins, YOTEL currently operates four airport hotels under the YOTELAIR brand in the London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Amsterdam Schiphol, and Paris, Charles de Gaulle airports. YOTEL operates city hotels in New York, Boston and Singapore. They will soon open in San Francisco, as well. The airport concept: tiny cabin-rooms (like you’d find in first class travel on a luxury airline) which can be rented by the hour for a quick refresh nap; showers: lounges with co-working space; and secure high-speed internet. The city hotels offer overnight “cabin” rooms in a similar vein — comfy quarters, high technology, concierge services, and cool communal spaces in dense urban centers. They’re stylish, compact, and all about the locale and price. Yotel Park City | Candysdirt.com
