Go with the steal. Ski In/Ski Out is often overrated. The views from the steal are great year-round, particularly in the summer, whereas ski in/ski out can end up looking at grass or hay covered ski runs and empty lift chairs in the summer. Thinking about CO as a year-round destination rather than just a ski destination makes a world of difference. As they say, come for the winter, stay for the summer.
