Boats and Ohs: Adorable Houseboat in Seattle Up For Grabs
If you think you’d be happy on the water, but maaaaaaaaaybe not all the way in the ocean, this adorable houseboat in Seattle may be right up your alley.
And it’s also pretty affordable at $275,000.
“Currently docked on the north side of Lake Union in Seattle, the floating home—officially known as Orca—is conveniently located near the downtown of district,” Dwell writes. “Recently remodeled, the houseboat features reclaimed bamboo flooring, butcher-block kitchen counters, custom cabinets, as well as a new steel hull—which means the home will require very low maintenance costs.”
The home is near downtown Seattle.
Penthouse in Barbados? Yes, Please
If living beachside in Barbados sounds like an excellent situation to be in, and you have an extra $5.9 million rattling around in the couch cushions, Mansion Global has found the perfect penthouse for you.
“This oceanfront penthouse villa in northwest Barbados offers sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea and a private rooftop sundeck with a pool and outdoor kitchen,” Mansion Global says. “The five-bedroom villa is in Saint Peter’s Bay Luxury Resort & Residences, which has 57 ocean-facing residences in six buildings.”
Don’t know if you would spend every waking moment in your Barbadian abode? The resort has a popular rental program, so you can always make a fair amount of cheddar on short-term rentals, since the villa rents for between $5,000 and $10,000 a night in the winter season.
