It just seems like it was yesterday that Kelly Clarkson won American Idol and launched her big-time music career, but now the star (and talk-show host) is listing her family home on Old Hickory Lake in Henderson, Tennessee, just outside Nashville.
Twenty-five miles up the Cumberland River, the home sits on four acres, next to two acres owned by the Army Corps of Engineers, TopTenRealEstateDeals.com reports. Those two acres can also be used (albeit with some restrictions).
The grounds boast shoreline views and access, a two-boat covered boathouse set to the side to not interrupt the view of the lake, mature trees, lush lawn, a sand volleyball court, English gardens, a greenhouse, pool, outdoor dining space, and playground.
The home, which was built in 2007, has 20,121 square feet of living space. Upon entering the grand foyer, visitors are greeted by double staircases and tons of light, thanks to plenty of windows and light flooring.
There is plenty of entertaining space – a cowboy bar with saddle bar stools, a billiard/game room, a large gym, movie theater, family room, and playroom with bunk beds.
A gorgeous master suite has a sitting area with fireplace, and an incredible – and spacious – master bath.
All told, there are seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, plus a two-level office.
Clarkson is likely selling because her new gigs – judge on The Voice and her weekly talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show – have her living in California with her family so she can be closer to both studios.
This celebrity home is priced at $7.49 million, and is listed by Jack Miller with PARKS Real Estate.
