When Dwyane Wade retired from the Miami Heat this year, he traded one coast for the other — and his Miami Beach home is on the market.
In fact, the luxe Miami Beach waterfront mansion has been listed since September, when it was originally priced at $32.5 million. This week Wade gave that price a haircut, dropping it to $29 million.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the former NBA guard bought the Biscayne Bay home for $10.6 million in 2010.
The 12,000 square foot, six-bedroom and nine-and-a-half bath Spanish-inspired mansion sits on an acre lot, and boasts — natch — a basketball court, pool, multiple entertaining areas, and lushly manicured grounds.
The home’s natural color palette is punctuated with dark wood accents and features “sunset-views from every room.”
The home also has a chef’s kitchen, multiple living areas, a wine room, and a state-of-the-art theater.
The master suite is also well-appointed, with a sitting room; generous en-suite that includes dual vanities, a soaker tub, and oversized shower; and gorgeous water views.
Wade and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, purchased a home in Sherman Oaks, California, last year, and since his retirement, he’s been spending most of his time in Los Angeles.
