Go big or go home.

Actually, do both.

NBA basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal just listed his off-the-charts Florida mega-manse for a whopping $19.5 million.

Not surprisingly, this palatial home has its own website: Located on Lake Butler just outside of Orlando, it sits on nearly four acres of water frontage inside the prestigious Isleworth Golf & Country Club. Since purchasing the estate in 1993 for $4 million, the 7’1” Hall of Famer added 8,000 square feet to the home’s original 23,000.

And yes, that includes a professional indoor basketball court.

By the numbers, the uber-decked-out estate sports 12 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and four powder rooms. But it’s the over-the-top amenities that make this estate one-of-a-kind.

Cigar bar with walk-in humidor. Soundproofed home theater. An Egyptian-themed room with oversized saltwater fish tank. And that’s just for starters.

Of course we want to know the back-story behind the big rig truck in the family room with the word “Diesel” painted on the bumper. (It’s among Shaq’s many nicknames.) Or the “what-was-he-thinking” moment of the Superman logo on the circular bed.

If security is an issue, this house has you covered.

Along with being inside the country club’s guarded gates, there’s a 10-foot privacy wall plus a safe room. The property is also outfitted with Crestron Technology.

Outdoor amenities include a 94-foot-long pool and double-slip boat dock.
Seventeen cars? No problem.

The extravagance doesn’t end indoors.

Outside, there’s a 94-foot-long, 15-foot-deep pool complete with tiki cabana and an outdoor kitchen. House your boat in the private two-slip dock. And lest we forget your vehicles, there’s plenty of room for a fleet in the showroom-quality, 17-car garage.

We were especially intrigued by the virtual renderings that accompanied the online listing. Created by top architects, they offer up a way to “reimagine the possibilities of design for 9927 Giffin Court.” (Think tennis court over basketball court, serenity over Superman.)

If the estate itself doesn’t provide enough recreational opportunities, the sought-after Isleworth community more than fills in the gaps. In addition to the 18-hole championship golf course, there’s an 89,000-square-foot clubhouse, resort-style pool, and a myriad of water sports.

And with all the fun that awaits, you’re bound to be overrun with visitors. Not to worry. There’s a five-bedroom guest house on the grounds.

According to the Robb Report, the Florida mansion isn’t the basket-baller’s only real estate. Other residential holdings include a nearly 15-acre semi-rural suburban property about 30 miles outside of downtown Atlanta. And in 2018, Shaq dropped just over $1.8 million for a 5,200-square-foot home in suburban Los Angeles’ gated Bell Canyon (currently on the market for nearly $2.3 million).

Listied by Tiffany Pantozzi, Jared Ringel and Chris Franciosa of The Atlas Team at Compass, 9927 Giffin Court, Windmere, Florida is available for $19.5 million.
